Brown Commends Selection of LSDBE Sign Company for New Ballpark

At-Large Councilmember Kwame Brown commends the selection of Gelberg Signs, Inc. a certified Local, Small and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (LSDBE), to produce and install signs for the new Nationals Ballpark stadium.

At-Large Councilmember Kwame Brown commends the selection of Mr. Allen Lew to serve as the executive director of the newly created Office of Public Education Facilities Modernization for DC Public Schools.

Brown Offers Tax Exemptions to Attract Restaurant & Retail to Undeserved Communities

Today Councilmember Kwame R. Brown introduced legislation that would provide tax exemptions to qualified restaurants and retail establishments in efforts to attract greater services to underserved communities.
